The Series Binocular Stereo Microscope (SKU JA-M-8091) is a compact stereo microscope supplied by JaincoLab for middle and secondary school classes. It gives an upright, three-dimensional image at one fixed magnification of 10x, 20x, 30x or 40x, set by the achromatic objective chosen, and its head is post-mounted so it rotates 180 degrees and adjusts for working distance. This version has no built-in light.

How is the magnification chosen?
Each unit has one fixed objective, 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x, which with the paired WF10x eyepieces gives 10x, 20x, 30x or 40x; the version is chosen when ordering.
Does it have built-in lighting?
No. Illumination is listed as none, so specimens are viewed by room light or a separate lamp; the LED Top and Bottom Lights Binocular Stereo Microscope is the lit version.
Can students remove the eyepieces?
Both eyepieces can be locked in place with a setscrew, which stops them being removed or lost in class.
